Outstanding News!!

BJP Home Support rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission

BJP Home Support Celebrated the outstanding news by holding an event outside the offices in Guisborough. Staff enjoyed chatting to members of the community handing out cake, freebies and glasses of bubbly.

BJP Home Support is a family run home care company based in Guisborough, supporting 115 clients across Redcar and Cleveland and Middlesbrough. We are a contracted provider with Redcar and Cleveland Council and work closely with adult services to support people to remain in their own homes. We provide support to adults with a range of needs including physical disabilities, mental health needs, learning disabilities and older persons. Our service supports people with personal care, domestic, meal preparation, medication, overnight care, social interaction and accessing the community.

In April this year we had our first inspection since covid, and we were able to retain our outstanding rating. Branch manager Hayley Wells stated “We are very proud of the outcome as we have gone through a very difficult and unprecedented time during Covid and the impact this had on not just us but the whole of the care sector.”

We have achieved this through the hard work and commitment from all our employees and we are forever grateful and proud of them all.

The CQC report states “staff told us how supported and happy they were. One staff member told us, ‘ I absolutely love my job, its very rewarding.’”

A relative spoken to by the CQC for the inspection stated “ the staff are lovely, really kind and caring.”

Owner/ director Barry Parvin stated “We were delighted with the outcome of our inspection and to be the only care at home provider to retain their outstanding rating. The result is a testament to all the hard work from our dedicated management team and care staff.”
